DETAILS OF THIS QUALIFICATION
The Award in Security Guarding is a qualification for individuals who work or would like to work as a Security Guard in Scotland. It is based on the SIA Specification for Learning and Qualifications in Security Guarding and successful completion of the qualification enables learners to apply for an SIA licence in Security Guarding.

Candidates Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements. However, learners should be able to work at SCQF level 5 or above and be proficient in the use of the English Language.
