Comments:
When visitors leave comments on the site we gather the data displayed in the comment form as well as the IP address of the visitor and browser user agent string to help spam detection. Furthermore, we may use an anonymized string generated from your email address (also called a hash) to check whether it is used by Gravatar service or not. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in context with your comment.
Media:
Be careful with uploading pictures on our site since they may contain embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors may download and extract any location data from images on website.
Cookies:
When you leave a comment, you can choose saving these details like name, email address and website in cookies. These cookies are convenient such that next time you want to make another comment you won’t forget to include all these details again. These cookies expire after one year.
A temporary cookie is used when visiting our login page to determine if your browser accepts cookies or not. It does not store any personal information and will be discarded immediately when you close your browser window.
Several cookies are set upon logging in to store your login details and screen preferences. Login cookies remain active for two days, while screen options cookies persist for one year. When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also uses it’s metadata indefinitely to maintain preapproved user reviews.
